  1. This file contains information on how to install Sytos Plus
  2.  OS/2 and DOS device drivers for systems using the 
  3. IBM 4mm DAT Device.  You should have received 
  4. copies of the drivers either on diskette from Sytron or from 
  5. Sytron's BBS.
  6.  
  7. Refer to the README file on your Sytos Plus Installation 
  8. Diskettes for possible additional about your particular 
  9. backup device.
  10.  
  11. To install the device drivers, refer to the appropriate steps.

  13. A. Installing the DOS Device Driver
  14.  
  15. 1.  Copy the file IBG_DATI.DRV  into your \SYPLUS\SYFILES 
  16.      subdirectory on the drive where you loaded Sytos Plus.  
  17. 2.  Start Sytos Plus.
  18. 3.  At the "Utilities: Backup Device Setup" window select 
  19.      "Add New Device."
  20. 4.  A list of available drivers appears.  Highlight and select the 
  21.      correct driver for your system. 
  22. 5.  When you finish, choose OK or press F2.
  23. 6.  Reboot your system if CONFIG.SYS has been modified.

  25. B. Installing the OS/2 Device Driver
  26.  
  27. 1. Copy the following three files into your \SYPLUS\SYFILES 
  28.     subdirectory on the drive where you loaded Sytos Plus.  
  29.     IBG_DATI.DRV
  30.     IBG_DATI.SYS
  31.     IBG_DATI.TXT
  32. 2.  Start Sytos Plus.
  33. 3.  At the "Utilities: Backup Device Setup" window select 
  34.     "Add New Device."
  35. 4.  A list of available drivers appears.  Highlight and select the 
  36.      correct driver for your system. 
  37. 5. When you finish, choose OK or press F2.
